Product Description and
Overview:
Acnezine is a two-part skin management system consisting of
a topical solution and a vitamin supplement taken once per day.
Acnezine claims that these vitamin supplements are designed to
control oil, inflammation and encourage production of healthy
skin from the inside out. The topical solution, applied
directly to the skin, addresses existing acne.
While a two-step acne treatment system is better than
treatment only, we have found higher effectiveness when a
three-step system is used - one that incorporates cleansing,
treatment and prevention/maintenance.
When it come to oral supplements, we are generally
suspicious; however, in the case of Acnezine, we are a little
more comfortable given that the Acnezine supplements consists
of vitamins rather than herbal/botonical ingredients.
Product Claims and
Features:
Acnezine two-step management system consists of two parts -
a topical solution and vitamin supplement. The topical solution
contains Benzoyl Peroxide 5%, which has been shown to be very
effective in the fight against acne-causing bacteria.
The antioxidants in the vitamin supplements can work to help
eliminate the free radicals that may cause mild acne.
The Acnezine system works for adults and teenagers, and is
effective against mild to moderate facial and body
acne. Get Acnezine Here

Ingredients:
The active ingredient in the topical solution is Benzoyl
Peroxide 5%, which has been found to be highly effective in
promoting cleaner skin by killing many types of acne-causing
bacteria.
One of the knocks against Benzoyl Peroxide is that it can be
can be harsh on the skin, causing drying and flaking. To
counter these potential drying effects, the Acnezine topical
formulation includes several botanical ingredients, including
Lavender extract, Aloe Vera and Chamomile.
While we are comfortable with the efficacy of Benzoyl
Peroxide, and use it in our own household, we do have a slight
bias to Salicylic Acid because of its effectiveness in the
fight against acne, without the harshness.
The Acnezine vitamin supplements include Ester-C, a form of
Vitamin C, and vitamins E, B6, B12, B1 and B2. Vitamin C is
probably one of the most important acne-fighting vitamins.
Vitamin C 1) is an antioxidant that prevents/reduces the damage
done to cells by toxins; and 2) is a detox agent that removes
toxins and other pollutants from your body. Vitamin E is also
an antioxidant, but is fat-soluble compared to vitamin C, which
is water-soluble. If you are already taking a multi-vitamin,
care must be taken to make sure that you don't mega dose on
vitamin E. Finally, B vitamins have been found important in the
fight against acne, providing for, in addition to other things,
the maintenance of health skin.
